Welcome to Alamance County Rescue. We would first like to thank you for your interest in becoming a member of our organization. We are currently accepting applications. VOLUNTEERS NEEDED. Applications will be processed and applicants will be notified according to the date received when slots are open. Please complete the application in the link below. A criminal background check must be included with the application. Background checks can be completed at the Court House in Graham. If you have lived outside of Alamance County for a period of time we also require a background check from the other states or counties.

Overview of the application process:

Once the application is received the membership committee will review your application.

If accepted, there will be a six-month probationary period.

Probationary members are expected to participate in a majority of trainings and general duty stand-bys.

New members must show competency in equipment use, truck knowledge, SOGs, and basic rescue skills.
Upon completion of a new member’s probationary period, the general membership will vote on an individual for general member status. The general membership takes into account the new member’s participation, attitude, communication skills, and eagerness to learn.

Requirements:
Must be at least 18 years old.
Must possess a valid driver’s license.
Must live within Alamance County or adjoining counties.
Must have a good driving record and have never been convicted of a felony.
